From that day forward I started my ‘natural journey’ which wasn’t really a journey at all. It was me haphazardly doing my hair in a natural and bandwagoning off of the freedom which is being natural when I didn’t even understand the movement. While subconsciously demonizing people that relaxed their hair human hair wigs, wore wigs or waves because of my own lack of self confidence and self hate, only using my experiences as a catch all for others people’s experiences.
