Virginity used to be a myth for selling women of “virtue.” Now the myth is utilised in cynical marketting ploys as demonstrated by the so called “artist” Britney Spears. To say your a virgin, is a way of insulting people who have decided to have sex. To say that someone else is a virgin is to say that they are so sad that they havent had sex yet.
